For the needs of the CDXP team, I have equipped some of our JUMA PA1000 power amplifiers with an input for receiving antennas. We mostly use transceivers that are not equipped with a separate input for receiving antennas and their connection is then complicated. Previously, we solved this using an external box with a relay controlled via PTT. This means carrying another device in a metal box, powering it from a source, etc. Just the complications. At the same time, the solution to integrate the RX input directly into the JUMA PA1000 is straightforward and very simple. All you need is one BNC connector, a signal relay, a toggle switch and a small PCB. My solution is in the following pictures.
